The Early Career Traineeship is designed for fresh graduates where Baker Hughes will train fresh talent who meet the required criteria to perform their traineeship in a specific business. The traineeship duration is 12 months in Dammam, KSA and will develop your technical knowledge and soft skills and provide on the job learning and exposure.
As part of our Early Career Traineeship, you will be involved in:
Attending classroom trainings and field jobs to fully understand quality project management and quality assurance. By the end of the training program, you shall possess comprehensive knowledge of quality control requirements of centrifugal compressors, turbomachinery packaging and testing activities, workshop operations, business targets and policies.
Attending Pre-Inspection Meeting with customer.
Lead inspections notifications, and tests to customer’s representative, ensuring the respect of contractual notification timing and verify the approval of the documentation used for inspection.
Attend final inspection of compressor skid with customer inspector, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely clarifying the issues when possible, with collaborating and engaging of other functions to support as required.
Review the punch list making sure the points are managed and closed by functions.
Check and issue of final inspection punch lists for the compressor skid to customer and monitor its resolution, and follow up with customer on IRC/IRN issuance.
Attend tests and inspection activities with customer inspectors for critical inspections when required.
Attend meetings with customer’s representative when requested.
Issue NCR through e-NCR system for those scenarios describes in the applicable procedures.
Collect and report to QPM all complaints (NCR) received by Customer recording the data and archive customer deviation request.
Ensure materials certification are available for the customer at the requested date in collaboration with QPM, Project Team, Sourcing and Manufacturing department.
Ensure that the documentation, concerning the procedures for inspections, tests or certification is issued and monitor their implementation.
lead periodical reviews with MDR team and to monitor the progress of data collection verifying the correctness of the final MDR book through the check activities with Customer Representative.
Participate in periodical meetings with the Project Team members and Manufacturing team.
Identify and list the Lessons Learnt applicable for the project during the course of packaging.
Conduct and lead continuous improvement activities (RCA/NCA) and Quality improvement initiatives when required.
Analyze quality performance using statistical and analytical tools and methods.
Interface with customers/third party or certifying authority representatives as required to discuss/resolve Quality related issues.
Support QMR preparation with statistical & analytical data.

To be successful in this traineeship you will:
Have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Aerospace engineering, Electrical or Electronics engineering, Chemical engineering Graduated from your bachelors’ degree within the last 24 months.
Be fluent in written and spoken English and have effective communication skills.
Be inquisitive and present a thirst for knowledge.
