What the day will look like Conduct analyses, claims analyses, costings, projections, and periodic experience updates as required to assist in the actuarial management of clients’ insurance programs; Perform market reviews and benchmarks to meet the evolving business needs of our clients; Perform tasks as requested around filings, auto manual, and other ad-hoc projects; Providing analytical support in servicing mid to large corporate accounts; Maintaining a variety of Excel-based actuarial tools; Reviewing contracts and financial statements; Writing reports and correspondence; Assist in analytic projects such as risk simulations based projects. Skills and experience that will lead to success Minimum experience required; successful completion of one or more actuarial exams is an asset; Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills in developing solutions for complex client/business issues; Strong organization skills and the ability to efficiently coordinate the delivery of projects and advisory services; Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both verbally and written; Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision; Must have strong digital literacy and be proficient with the Microsoft Office Package. Previous experience in R, Python, VBA or other programming languages is an asset. Education: Students should be enrolled in Risk Management, Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics or Business Administration; and Applicants should preferably be in 2nd work term or above.
