Location: Bloomington, MN
As part of an industry-leading team, you will work closely with various teams to provide exceptional customer experience and be a part of the best-in-class client services team in the reinsurance industry. We are looking for a candidate who is excited to support our clients as their dedicated advocate. Our experienced team will also help you build and implement your individual career development plan with dedicated mentors that will assist you along the way. Intern candidates will be considered for post-graduation employment under Aon’s early career development program, known as Launch. The Launch program is a supplemental opportunity for recent college recruits to accelerate their personal and career development at Aon. The Intern positions within Client Services may include some or all of the following job responsibilities:
Position Responsibilities for all roles • Support Client Service Advocates that manage client accounts with anywhere from $1m to over $10m in revenue • Client facing roles: interact with the client, broker and client service team members domestically and globally • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work optimally in a team environment both virtually and in person, and ability to work under tight deadlines • Connect with clients, accounting team, claims team, sales team, and/or other operating units to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide assistance • Work with a team of 98 onshore and 72 offshore (India) colleagues to manage all premium, claims, accounting, collections, collateral and accounts for a team that manages over $20B in reinsurance assets annually • Learn the unique aspects of reinsurance Claim Advocate Intern • Act as a liaison between the client and Aon regarding Claim issues • Provide support to a Client Advocate on large global account(s) • Work with Lloyds of London on a variety of issues, including collections to ensure payment of balances to the client • Work with the client on claim reports that are due or coming due • Answer questions from reinsurers • Learn Aon systems and provide updates as needed • May assist with research for thought leadership articles • Projects within the department • Opportunity to audit our internal reinsurance classroom training as space/time permits

Rising seniors graduating between December 2025 – June 2026 with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

The salary for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $24.00 hourly. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
Aon offers a benefits package for temporary and seasonal employees who will work 20 or more hours per week including: medical, dental, and vision insurance at the employee’s expense, critical illness insurance, 10 Company holidays per calendar year (paid, if eligible), paid sick leave as provided under state and local law, and a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions. Eligibility for benefits are governed by the applicable plan documents and policies.
