We are seeking a design intern to join our creative team. Operating like an agency, but within the stability of a global 1000 firm, we are seeking a graphic designer intern to assist creating deliverables to help the firm win new business and retain clients. We are a fast-paced team that works closely with internal stakeholders to create visually impactful materials that represent the Aon story. You will report directly to our NA Creative Director, which will provide you with the support and direction to grow as an in-house corporate designer.

Your Impact as A Creative Design Intern
As a design intern, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the NA PaC team’s projects, gaining hands-on experience, and bringing fresh perspectives to our design processes. Your innovative ideas and design skills will directly impact the visual identity and client experience of our materials.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Demonstrate strong layout and design skills, acute attention to detail, accuracy, creativity, and self-motivation!
+ Collaborate with the NA PaC design team to create visually appealing materials
+ Contribute to the design maintenance of our brand assets
+ Work closely with cross functional teams to understand project requirements and business needs
+ Ensure deadlines are met, quality is consistent and adhere to brand guidelines
+ Stay updated on design trends and industry best practices
+ Ability to articulate and follow Aon policies, procedures, and best practices
+ Develop flexible processes and tools to support different levels of creative needs in a fast-paced, budget-conscious environment

Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
+ Writing, proofreading, and editing experience
+ Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
+ Strong creative portfolio that shows a wide variety of media, techniques, and experience
+ Proficiency in Adobe, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment
+ Quick study, detail oriented, flexible, and adaptable while working both independently and as a member of a collaborative growing team
+ Develop relationships with effective communication
+ Proficiency in Microsoft office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $20.50 - $26.50 hourly. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
Aon offers a benefits package for temporary and seasonal employees who will work 20 or more hours per week including: medical, dental, and vision insurance at the employee’s expense, critical illness insurance, 10 Company holidays per calendar year (paid, if eligible), paid sick leave as provided under state and local law, and a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions. Eligibility for benefits are governed by the applicable plan documents and policies.
