Early Careers Coordinator

We are looking for an Early Careers Coordinator to join our team.  

We are flexible on the locations of either Elgin, Edinburgh or Inverness.

Job purpose:

The role of the Early Careers Coordinator is an exciting opportunity to learn about and support our fast-growing Early Careers programmes, focusing on our Graduate Programme, our JC Futures Apprenticeship Programme and our Internships across Scotland and Newcastle.

The successful candidate will act as the initial contact point for guidance and general study advice for the firm’s Early Careers employees. 

You will proactively support the end-to-end Early Careers experience from onboarding through to post qualification, ensuring we are equipped to meet the changing future skills needs of our business.

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for (but not limited to):

Managing the Early Careers mailbox responding to queries and providing support to students and stakeholders in a timely manner Overseeing and monitoring Early Careers student records Working with the Early Careers team, and other key stakeholders, to support our Early Careers progression requirements across the firm Monitoring student’s progress via results of all final, interim assessments and mock exams, ensuring we provide regular monitoring and reporting Manage the internal Early Careers Share point site to ensure all information is up to date and relevant Delivering a professional, consistent, proactive advice service to our Early Careers students and their managers Organisation and support of all Early Careers events held throughout the year Providing a range of support on Early Careers projects as and when required.

About you:

Knowledge of all or some professional bodies is essential (ICAS, ACCA, AAT, ATT, CTA and ICAEW) Excellent relationship building skills and able to work well in a team Good problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative Excellent attention to detail Working knowledge of Microsoft Packages, particularly Excel Effective communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to be engaging and professional Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment A leader of your work and your professional learning.
