What You Will Do:

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong intellectual curiosity, capable of working independently while engaging with senior leadership and other stakeholders to drive impactful outcomes and successfully navigate complex challenges and evolving needs. Other responsibilities include:

Work with the team to run information gathering session with clients regarding client structure, process, technology, and culture.Develop work products that clearly synthesize information into recommendations for client improvements.Participate in client meetings, clearly synthesize meeting minutes, and disseminate them to team members and clients.Work with a team to develop solutions to solve process and policy challenges for a government client that interfaces with the transit industry.Develop business process improvements to existing programs.Provide change management recommendations to clients.

What You Will Need:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.1+ years’ management consulting with experience in one or more of the following areas:Working within a formalized Project or Workstream (e.g., Developing reports and presentations, completing project or workstream tasks within the defined timeline);Change Management (e.g., evaluation or analysis of current process/future process, documentation of program process, process improvement, and automation); orBusiness Process Improvement (e.g., assessing existing processes and making recommendations to make them more efficient or effective). Ability to thrive in client service and team-based environments, especially when tackling unstructured problems.Strong analytical, writing and communication skills.Strong attention to detail, well organized and ability to self-prioritize multiple activities.Proficiency with Excel, databases, Word, and PowerPoint.U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance.Due to contract requirements must be able to work from Guidehouse Arlington, VA or client facilities in Washington D.C. If located outside of area, must be willing to relocate without financial assistance.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

Experience consulting with federal clients.Experience in the transportation industry.Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint.
