Early Careers Recruiting ManagerPosition Overview
The Early Careers Recruiting Manager will lead the development and execution of recruitment strategies for early career talent programs, including Sales, Operations Management Trainees, the Supply Chain Development Program, Co-ops, and Internships. This individual will oversee the full lifecycle recruitment process and ensure alignment with organizational goals to attract, develop, and retain top-tier talent.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, have a passion for early talent development, and a proven ability to manage recruitment pipelines across diverse functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive recruiting strategy for early career programs across the enterprise including Sales, Operations and Supply Chain.
Collaborate with business leaders and HR partners to identify workforce needs and align recruiting strategies with organizational objectives.
Monitor industry trends to ensure competitive positioning in the early talent market.
Oversee recruitment pipelines for specific programs, including Operations Management Trainees, Supply Chain Development, and Co-ops/Interns.
Partner with internal stakeholders to design and refine recruitment timelines, candidate experiences, and selection criteria.
Partner with Diversity and Inclusion Leader to identify appropriate schools and attraction strategies to bring in more diverse early-career hires.
Develop and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and other key talent sources.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of two early careers recruiters.
Provide mentorship to recruiters on effective sourcing, candidate engagement, and recruitment best practices.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Ensure a seamless candidate experience from application through onboarding.
Create innovative approaches to attract and engage early career talent, including leveraging social media, recruitment events, and employer branding strategies.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting strategies.
Provide regular updates and insights to leadership on hiring progress, pipeline health, and diversity metrics.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of university relations and recruiting experience in a corporate environment.
Experience managing recruitment pipelines for large-scale programs such as internships, co-ops, or rotational programs.
Experience building relationships with universities and professional organizations.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach and manage a team.
Exhibits excellent organizational and data tracking skills. Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies.
Ability to travel up to 20-30% at key times of the year.
