Arcadis is seeking motivated and detail-oriented summer interns and co-ops to join our team in North America in 2025. As a global leader in delivering sustainable design, engineering, digital, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets, we offer exciting entry-level opportunities across various disciplines. This past year, we hired over 200 summer interns and co-ops, and with 132 offices across North America, located in 47 states and provinces, we can help you get to where you want to be.

Role accountabilities:

Aid in planning, designing, and implementing innovative projects in your field. Conduct field inspections, surveys, and data collection to support project analysis. Prepare technical reports, calculations, and documentation. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) and other relevant software. Ensure project compliance with industry standards, regulations, and sustainability goals. Assist in preparing project proposals, budgets, and schedules. Monitor project progress and provide updates to supervisors.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, GIS, and project management software, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications: 

Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Interior Design, Transportation Engineering, Energy Engineering, Computer Science, Water Engineering, Management Information Systems, Geology, Environmental Science, Management, Urban Planning, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Familiarity with sustainability practices and principles. Experience with digital tools and methodologies.

Arcadis offers benefits for part-time, as needed positions. These benefits include EAP, 401K, and optional wellbeing benefits. The salary range for this position is $15.00 - 28.80 / hour. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
