Job Purpose:
Are you passionate about early years education? We are looking for a skilled and creative Early Years Assistant Manager to support the Early Years Manager in leading and inspiring a team to deliver high-quality early years education and care. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with management experience or looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the nursery management team to inspire and lead staff in delivering high-quality, inclusive early years education and care in line with policies and procedures.
Serve as a role model for the wider staff team, demonstrating sensitive and responsive interactions that support and extend children's learning and development.
Ensure that quality and safety standards are consistently maintained, creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children.
Support the management team with day-to-day operations, including planning, staffing, and resource management.
Oversee and monitor the implementation of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Key Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 Early Years Education and Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
Post-qualification experience in early education and childcare or a similar environment.
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate reports and correspondence, such as for supervisions, business plans, child protection reports, and recruitment purposes, using Microsoft Word and other computer packages.
A proven ability to inspire and motivate others to deliver high standards, set clear objectives, and achieve results.
Additional Requirements:
You will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check (if your current certificate is not subscribed to the update service).
