As an Electron Beam Melter you will be responsible for producing high quality Tantalum ingots in the EB. This position would also have some duties operating Q Plant Equipment as required.You will have the opportunity to: Setup and operate the EB, working from Standard Operating Procedures, and instructions on job specific routers. Operate GCA and AC Furnaces, Eitel Press, and Mold Cleaning equipment as required. Operate Hydride/Dehydride & Agglomeration Furnaces. Inspect and maintain molds, melt hardware, and other operating supplies. Enter material movements in SAP, completes all associated quality control paperwork and lot traceability paperwork to assure product is clearly tested and identified. Performs troubleshooting, including vacuum leak detection, minor repairs, and routine preventative maintenance tasks on production equipmentRequirements:High school diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years industrial manufacturing experience using computer databases preferred. SAP experience preferred.Troubleshooting experience preferred.Quality Inspection experience preferred.Vacuum systems experience preferred.Vacuum melting experience with EB or CMAF preferred. The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
