EBS Database Analyst (6 month FTC)

The Business Support Database Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting internal customers globally by managing and updating the databases and reservation systems for Hertz and related brands within the Global Business Support Centre. This includes the Global Directory Database (GDD), Global Distribution Systems (GDS), Rate Management System (RMS), and related tools. This role is initially a 6-month Fixed Term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management: Update and maintain comprehensive information related to Hertz databases (e.g., GDD, RMS, Res Maintenance, Location and Fleet Tools). Ensure accurate data feeds into the in-house reservation system (Excalibur) and various counter and back-office systems used by all hertz owned brands as well as the Apps, Online Tools and third parties. Fleet Images Management: Updating and efficiently maintaining car fleet images for all brands in the Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty websites, the apps and aggregators using the Fleet Image Tool, AEM (Adobe Experience Manager). Work closely with the consumer Product team and developers to ensure the updating process of images is always UpToDate. Task Processing: Efficiently process tasks and workflows for all locations in North America, received through the Global Repository Data Management System, ensuring timely updates and maintenance of data in GDD system to synchronize with RMS. Quality Assurance: Meet and exceed productivity, quality, and service level agreements (SLAs) for all requests handled and all inboxes as established by departmental targets. Contractual Compliance: Assist in the quarterly review and scheduling of updates that affect contractual customers in EMEA. Automation Support: Serve as a liaison with GDD developers and engineers to automate manual updates, enhancing efficiency and minimizing error rates in processes. Data Retrieval and Updates: Retrieve and update fuel and electricity prices for all countries biweekly in GDD, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with corporate standards. Location Management: Monitor the Location Counts Portal (LSC) in order to ensure the expedited assigning of location and area codes to allow the execution of all location openings and changeovers received contributing to the maximizing of revenue. Project Management: Support all Country-Contacts with small business-critical projects providing feedback and developing the plans for productive and efficient execution of implementation. Act as a subject-matter expert and advisory for knowledge transfer. Shared Files Management: Ensure shared files and reports are accurately maintained, updated and distributed on the Hertz Partners site, maintaining the most current information. EV Coordination: Act as the primary contact for electric vehicle (EV) changes within GDD, ensuring compliance with Hertz expectations and managing the approval process prior to implementation. Request Review: Review fleet and fee requests for EMEA, LAMC, and NA, ensuring ACRISS compliance at all times, communicating effective dates and implementing changes in each of the databases and related systems to ensure data accuracy and enhance customer experience. System Implementation: Review, test, set up, and implement various types of rental and not rental locations and new products/services in our databases in alignment with business requirements. Reporting: Utilize SQL Developer to report on data relevant to departmental operations and cross-departmental needs. New Country Onboarding: Oversee the setup of new countries in reservation systems, guiding partners through form completion, onboarding, implementation, and post-launch support. Troubleshooting: Investigate and proactively resolve issues related to information in the Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty reservation systems across all geographical areas . On resolution of the issues, provide root cause analysis and a share plan to avoid reoccurrence. System and Databases Testing: Closely work with system developers to Test new versions of current systems, document issues found, suggest improvements and enhancements to current functionality and provide constructive feedback to developers. Training and Development: Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives for Country Contacts on processes, systems, and data flows, providing guidance on end-to-end procedures. SOP Development: Contribute to the creation and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists and guidelines to ensure comprehensive documentation of processes. Support the continuous and update to ensure they are kept up to date. Team Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, cross-training and team building activities to foster collaboration and keep the team informed on business activities.Qualifications/Skills:

Ability to thrive under pressure during peak periods. Excellent time management and organizational capabilities. Computer Proficiency: Proficient computer skills, including data management tools.
