This position will be responsible for providing integration testing and release coordination for the  Arkansas Workforce Integrated Network System (ARWINS). 
Helps oversee and Identify goals and objectives for DWS TANF EBT Systems Transition consistent with state and agency priorities, and state and federal laws, regulations, and policies. 
The ARWINS system is currently being used in production by trained TANF case managers in selected areas. The system is built on an open source stack with the following major software components:• Ruby on Rails• NGINX• Phusion Passenger• PostgreSQL• Sidekiq
Identified activities include:-Upgrading the Ruby on Rails Framework, and other major components used in the ARWINS eco-system (Ex: Phusion Passenger, Nginx, and Sidekiq) to a newer stable, and supported version-Providing defect fixes identified in production, and / or  user testing
Since the ARWINS system will no longer be doing the intake, eligibility and benefits issuance functions, the system needs to be repurposed by decoupling in-built intake and eligibility functions from the functionality, and the system workflow (Ex: Drug Screening, Absent Parent Management, Child Care / OCSE, program unit activation, etc..)
Manage all aspects of release management planning and execution of the ARWINS System.• Set and manage release support expectations ensuring all applicable groups are engaged in the release planning and execution• Create comprehensive deployment plans, including detailed timeline of changes, risks and mitigation plans, areas needs for validation and resources to execute validation.• Execution of deployment plan ensuring issues are identified and resolved.• Coordinate with other resources to identify and monitor issues, impact and dependencies • Prepare and conduct informal and formal presentations• Promote continuous improvement by influencing Release Management process improvements• Excellent understanding of the organization’s business strategies and apply knowledge to all• Provide leadership, direction and integrate activities with other groups to ensure successful managed maintenance
