BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER PURCHASING (m/w/d)

What would be your responsibilities?                 

Execute and support overall purchasing strategy in alignment with company and sales strategy

Define and implement commodity supplier portfolio strategy

Drive negotiations with suppliers

Keep continuous relationship with  the EBV Sales Team to ensure EBV’s competitiveness

Monitor market conditions (Price trends, lead times, etc.)

Drive clearance of excess inventory through active promotion to sales and suppliers

Contribute in supplier/internal business reviews on demand

Develop and maintain supplier relationship

Analyze market in regards to the given product responsibility

Be first level contact for all business partners with regards to defined product segments, roadmaps respectively assigned suppliers

Gain active knowledge about the market developments (e.g. visiting fairs)

Detect process-based supply chain risks and implement risk mitigation measures

Drive negotiation and review procurement relevant supplier T&C's regularly

What do we expect from you?

Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing or commercial training

Min. 3 years of experience in the purchasing area or distribution field

Knowledge of the electronics distribution industry and manufacturing processes

Understanding of material management, value analysis and Key Performance Indicators

Ability to analyze, interpret and summarize statistical data

Ability to work independently

Good communication skills with the ability to present views in a clear, concise way, both verbally and in writing

Very good language skills in German and English
