With a cost of living 8% lower than the national average, we are affordable for everyone! **Schedule: Full-time** **Requirements:** + Associate's degree from an accredited program in Ultrasound Technology, required. + Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), required. + BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification. **Responsibilities:** + Performs a variety of cardiac testing, including echocardiology, transesophageal echo studies, stress echo, cardiac; including doppler and treadmill stress testing. + Records and documents appropriately. + 1-2 days in a Physician's clinic required. + Responsible for clinical patient testing. This includes taking patient history and performance of a focused physical examination. + Technical competence in all procedures performed within the vascular laboratory shall be demonstrated including cerebrovascular, venous and arterial extremity, renal, mesenteric, and abdominal arterial and venous duplex examinations. + Requires a comprehensive knowledge of ultrasound physics, hemodynamic principles, and vascular as well as non-vascular anatomy and physiology. + Performs ultrasound examinations of the heart to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disorders affecting circulation. **About Crestwood Medical Center** Crestwood Medical Center is a Tier 1 Facility from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama.
