Echocardiography Technician I (Per Diem)
Job Summary Responsible for a variety of technical duties necessary to the acquisition of echocardiographic examinations and maintenance of the normal operation of the adult echocardiography laboratory. Job Duties + Performs and processes echocardiographic examinations including two-dimensional, three dimensional, M-mode, Doppler, and special procedures and exercise techniques. + Performs emergency procedures when necessary; transports equipment and patients. + Assists with special procedures including transesophageal echocardiography, intraoperative echocardiography, pericardiocentesis, and contrast echocardiography. + Analyzes and files echocardiographic data utilizing digital computer analysis systems. + Assists in developing and maintaining internal training programs and in technical instruction of echocardiographic techniques. + Assists in approved research activities. + Performs mobile Echo service as directed. + Interprets and follow policies and guidelines to define procedures and meet goals and deadlines. Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
