ECM Sr. Solutions Consultant
What You'll Do The ECM Product Solution Consultant position is an individual contributor sales role specializing in exemption certificate management product, designed to drive incremental bookings for our ECM product across the new and existing business sales organization. Experience with Exemption Certificates and sales are needed for role. This is a sales role. What Your Responsibilities Will Be The ECM Product Solution Consultant position enables the new and existing business sales organizations to better understand their ECM product(s) and service(s) with the goal of increasing add on product sales, average sale price (ASP), and customer success. Product Solution Consultants highly motivated, team-oriented individual, interested in expanding their influence and affecting the broader sales organization. Reporting to the Senior Director US Strategic Products & Consulting, the EC Product Solution Consultant will be tightly aligned with leadership in the new and existing business sales organizations. Every day you will respond to incoming requests from sales executives and customer account managers to help them close deals. You will hold office hours to train and advise salespeople on ECM and how to attach it to their deals. You will also hold Q&A in these sessions. Work across the New and Existing Business Sales organization to assist sales teams in driving revenue for your designated product(s). Be the subject matter expert for the ECM product to include building deep levels of product knowledge, customer domain knowledge and industry knowledge. Help sales executives and customer account managers understand their prospects/customers' business environment and provide valuable actionable recommendations to drive product attachment and end to end solutions. Provide sales executive and customer account manager deal support from discovery and qualification, to product demos to deal negotiations, to quote support and closing. Articulate and present the value delivered by Avalara products and services to various levels within a customer organization. Develop plans to deliver on strategic product budget targets, including how to increase the product knowledge and acumen of sales teams. Create & maintain regular bookings forecasts and report out on bookings performance to leadership. Work in a team environment with multiple internal teams to solve problems and deliver results. Represent the ‘Voice of the Customer', surfacing key product and business insights to help drive innovation for Avalara teams, i.e., Product, Marketing, Implementation, Support, etc. What You'll Need to be Successful The ECM Product Solution Consultant will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the ECM product and will be considered the go-to resource for the new and existing business sales organizations; from training and enablement to deal support throughout the sales executive and customer account manager sales motions. Experience with Exemption Certification Management is needed for role. This role is not eligible for sponsorship.
