What You’ll Do:
As a Fulfillment Specialist, you will be instrumental in optimizing and managing the logistics and shipping operations of an eCommerce business, with a focus on collaborating effectively with third-party logistics (3PL) providers. Your primary responsibilities will center on analyzing current processes and implementing strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations.
Oversee inbound and outbound order fulfillment processes to ensure accurate, timely delivery of customer orders.Monitor and manage inventory levels to maintain adequate stock availability and minimize out of stock.Establish and maintain strong partnerships with 3PL providers to drive collaboration and continuous improvement.Negotiate contracts, service levels, and rates with 3PL vendors to optimize value and performance.Assess and refine shipping and fulfillment strategies to minimize costs while maintaining delivery excellence.Identify cost-saving opportunities through route optimization, packaging adjustments, or renegotiation of 3PL pricing.Analyze and benchmark competitor shipping methods to enhance delivery speed, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.Audit and monitor product dimensions and weight data to ensure accurate logistics operations.Develop dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics, such as shipping costs, lead times, and order accuracy.Collaborate with IT teams to integrate eCommerce platforms with 3PL systems for seamless order processing, shipment tracking, and inventory updates.Support the implementation and maintenance of software tools that automate workflows and track logistics performance.Stay informed on industry trends and innovations in eCommerce fulfillment to maintain a competitive edge.Actively participate in training programs, workshops, and webinars to enhance skills and stay current with the latest developments.Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily operations, maintain confidentiality and professionalism.Provide proactive, friendly, and professional support to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.Exemplify Rural King’s core values: People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement.Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and business objectives.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNo

The pay range for this position is $47,000 - $62,160 annualized and is bonus eligible. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs.
