Principle Accountabilities:
Familiarization and compliance with all PCA policies and rules, established safety, cGMP, product specifications and product procedures, and related information provided by the supervisor.Maintains close communication and good working relationships with various department personnel and serves as point of contact for any inventory questions.Understand all facility and customer procedures and requirements related to inventory management.Maintains accurate inventory levels (includes warehouse, production staging, returns) Monitors material movement (ex FIFO, performs spot checks) Performs cycle counts and other requested counts (follows written processes, counts bins / assigns counters, reconciles counts, provides proper documentation, enters accurate information into computer system) Performs line balances as needed to reconcile discrepancies found before/during/after production Reconciles discrepancies following processes prior to adjustments (ex: pulling receipts, inventory history, warehouse checks)Provides supporting documentation for counts and adjustmentsPerforms physical inventories Assist Supervisor with re-stocking schedule for picking bins on a daily basisProvides inventory reports – internal and external requestsArchives inventory files and follows record retention scheduleProcesses damagesEnters inventory adjustments following processes Pulls samples, if requestedEnters data transactions Aids in product dispositions and processes destruction of materials applying proper documentationMaintains inventory in product secure roomCommunicates QC Hold needs Maintain inventory levels on stock itemsEnter purchase orders as needed for stock itemsSend a weekly /monthly report to management, as directedResponds to emails in a professional and timely mannerCross train for receiving and provides coverage as needed.Must work in the areas, as needed and work dictates.May be required to safely operate forklift and maintain applicable licensures.Help maintain a safe work environment by knowing facility safety rules/procedures, as well as identify and report unsafe working conditions and unsafe behaviors of others.Maintains good working relationship with fellow quality inspectors, line leads, and other PCA employees.Attends mandatory meetings and trainings.Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Position Requirements:
Education High School Diploma/GED required. Must have a minimum 1 year of Inventory Clerk/Lead experience. Must be able to read, recognize numbers and understand number sequences.Must be able to do basic math calculation (i.e., count, add, subtract, multiply, divide). Must be detail oriented.Ability to seek answers/solutions to questions. Ability and willingness to work overtime on short notice, both during the week and weekends. Ability to work in manufacturing environment, with varying temperatures based on season, around machinery, and heavy forklift traffic.Able to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.Ability to understand and interpret diagrams and pictures and apply interpretation to assessing whether display/product meets requirements.
