We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Merchandiser to join our Outdoor Performance team. This role focuses on day-to-day management of websites across multiple brands. The Ecommerce Merchandiser is the driving force behind the Brand’s online presence. This position primarily focuses on expertly curating content, from product information to fostering an engaged community through thoughtful and tactful strategies, and optimizing customer engagement.
The person in this role needs to use a consumer-centric approach, and an innovative mindset, and makes data-driven decisions to position the Brand as an ultimate hub for outdoor enthusiasts. Collaborating seamlessly with creative, digital marketing, and e-commerce operation teams, the Ecommerce Merchandiser enhances the user experience by implementing creative content strategies and mastering technical tools.
This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Ecommerce Merchandising and is based out of our **Bozeman, MT** office.
**As the** **Ecommerce Merchandiser** **you will have an opportunity to:**
+ Curates, manages, and audits product listings, engaging content, imagery, recipes, educational blogs, and UGC. Takes charge of moderating customer reviews of both site and product to foster a positive online community and customer experience.
+ Continuously strategizes ways to optimize the consumer experience, putting customer needs at the forefront with alignment to the overall company vision and mission.
+ Drives user engagement through creative content strategies and a deep understanding of customer journeys. Uses data and brand direction to merchandise products and provide comprehensive information, aiding informed buying decisions.
+ Enhances SEO for increased visibility and accessibility (keyword research, site health, etc.). Explores innovative and creative ways to improve consumer experience and engagement. Works towards establishing the Brand as the ultimate destination for outdoor gear and information.
+ Collaborates seamlessly with the digital marketing team for onsite promotions. Ensures effective product presence in collaboration with the marketing and product management team. Works with e-commerce operations for site development and UX/UI enhancements.
+ Masters and manages e-commerce platforms, digital asset management (DAM), product information management (PIM) systems, review platforms, CDP, and other backend tools.
+ Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, content, and production teams, to develop compelling digital assets (e.g., banners, images, videos) and optimize website content for improved user experience and conversion rates.
+ Generate regular reports on key performance metrics and provide actionable insights to team leads and executive teams. Continuously monitor site metrics, consumer trends, and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities for optimization and growth. Accountable for the following site metrics: CVR, Consumer Flow, Time on Site, Bounce Rate, Site Health and Organic Traffic.
**You Have:**
+ 2+ years of work experience as an Ecommerce Merchandiser or similar position.
+ A bachelor's degree in marketing, business or other related field of study.
+ Knowledge of working in an E-Commerce platform (Shopify preferred), Content Management Systems, PIM (Salsify preferred), and DAM management.
+ Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
+ Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent content creation and writing skills.
+ Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
+ Organized with effective time management skills that enable multitasking.
**Pay Range:**
Annual Salary: $58,000.00 - $75,000.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
