ECOMMERCE SHIPPER FULL TIME Job Details Job Location Benigno Retail Operations Center - Bellmawr, NJ Position Type Full Time Education Level None Salary Range $16.75 - $16.75 Hourly Travel Percentage Negligible Job Shift Any Job Category Retail Description The E-Commerce Shipper is responsible for shipping merchandise sold through Goodwill’s E-Commerce unit and assisting in customer related tasks. The position is a member of the Retail Team. Specific Duties + Follow all Goodwill policies and safety procedures. Must possess professional etiquette. + On each shift, pull all paid jewelry to prepare for shipping. + Notify supervisor immediately if an item is not able to be located. Any late shipments must be communicated prior to shipment moving into a late status. + Pack items sufficiently to ensure that there is no damage during transportation. + Ensure all items which are fragile or cost more than $80 are insured. + Ship all packed jewelry the same day. + Schedule pickups with U.S. Postal Service or appropriate shipper for the next morning and place packages in appropriate locations for pickup. + Ensure workspace and supplies stay neat and organized. + Ensure sufficient supplies are available through timely notifications to manager. This includes completing a Uline order log once per month. + Assists with customer service as needed. This includes updating addresses, special requests, information on damaged packages, return labels, and related tasks when specified. + Legible handwriting. + Keeps work area and surrounding area neat, clean, and orderly. + Regular attendance is required. + All other duties as assigned. Qualifications + Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers. + Must be computer literate and have knowledge of Microsoft operating systems. + Must have and maintain a positive attitude. + Basic knowledge of safety and caution with unknown items and/or variables. + Ability to work well in a hectic work environment with occasional periods of high stress. + Must be able to work a flexible schedule on short notice, including nights, weekends, and occasional long hours. + Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs. frequently. + Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 100 lbs. occasionally with assistance. + Ability to engage in prolonged sitting, standing and/or walking. + Ability to engage in frequent bending, stooping, and stretching. + Vision corrected to within normal limits.
