An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Economic Crime prevention Team for a Governance & Controls Associate.

If you have experience in a 1LOD/2LOD financial crime function within the Financial Services industry then this could be the next exciting step in your career.


The difference you’ll make:

Performing and driving the approach towards annual business risk assessment for Economic Crime Prevention Risks

Support existing Governance and oversight by producing materials and reports for various senior executive forums

Ensure accurate maintenance of Economic Crime management information and driving automation for internal and external regulatory reporting

Supporting the management and maintenance of client perimeter and performing various pre and post KYC & AML trading controls

Performing different types of risk assessments on clients based on Economic Crime risk red flag indicators

What you’ll bring:

These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:

Experience managing data, analysis and proficient with Microsoft Applications

Active experience in a 1LOD/2LOD financial crime function with a broad expertise of the Financial Crime environment

Experience in financial services

It would also be nice for you to have:

Understanding of Wholesale & Investment banking products & services

Experience and knowledge of using Microsoft Power apps such as PowerBI

Spanish speaker

What else you need to know:

This role is based at our offices in Triton Square, London located within easy walking distance from Warren Street and Euston.

To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 3 days a week (pro-rata for part-time roles).
