We are looking for instructors to teach in our undergraduate Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics Engineering Technology programs. This would be an ideal position for a Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering professional.

No prior teaching experience is needed; we provide training, mentoring, and ongoing faculty support.

For the Mechanical Engineering faculty positions

Education and Work Experience:

Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or in a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited educational institution; Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. 3-5 years industry experience in a mechanical and/or manufacturing engineering field required; 7+ years career industry experience preferred. Experience in operating or programming Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines used in manufacturing processes such as milling, turning, and laser cutting or similar, along with familiarity with Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software.

 

For the Electronics Engineering Technology faculty positions

Education and Work Experience:

Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or in a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited educational institution; Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering is preferred. 3-5 years industry experience in an electrical and/or manufacturing engineering field required; 7+ years career industry experience preferred. Industry experience must be within the last 5 years. Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used to control and automate systems in manufacturing, along with understanding ladder logic, function block diagrams, and other programming languages used in PLCs.

 

For the Systems Engineering faculty positions

Education and Work Experience:

Doctoral degree in Systems Engineering with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited educational institution. 3-5 years industry experience in an electrical and/or manufacturing engineering field required; 7+ years career industry experience preferred. Industry experience must be within the last 5 years. Appropriate technical certification or licensure (if required)
