ED Medical Director / Physician
St. Joseph Healthcare, part of Covenant Health, is seeking an experienced, board-certified Emergency Medicine physician to serve as the ED Medical Director/Physician for our 18-bed emergency department, which handles 29,000 visits annually in Bangor, Maine. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Emergency Medicine experience and a strong interest in leading a dynamic team. You will oversee a team of 8 ED physicians and 6 physician assistants supported by an ED scheduler and administrative assistant. Highlights of the Position: + 0.3–0.5 FTE clinical time (based on your preference) at $220 per hour plus night shift differentials. + Generous stipend for the administrative role of $133K in addition to a minimum of 600 clinical hours (more available as desired). + Epic EMR with sufficient time allocated during shifts for charting. + Dedicated ED scheduler and administrative assistant to support daily operations. + Highly competitive sign-on bonus. + Student Loan Repayment Program offering $20K per year with no maximum benefit. + Relocation reimbursement up to $10K (IRS maximum standard). + Comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, retirement, and more.
