We are proud of our 18,000+ successful placements with quality-oriented organizations that recognize the value of better talent. **Compensation and Schedule for the ED Registrar** ED Registrar – Full-time, onsite, $23-$24 per hour, weekend and night shift differentials, 4:30pm to 3:00am two days per week, 8:30pm to 7:00am two days per week, year-end bonus eligibility. Work for one of Arizona’s leading hospital systems! **Required Qualifications of the ED Registrar** - 1+ years of recent hospital registration experience required - High school diploma or GED required - Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen **Responsibilities of the ED Registrar** - Greet patients who present for professional and hospital services that have been pre-registered and collect copays and deductibles - Obtain all necessary signatures at the time of registration or arrival - Accurately document all information in the appropriate fields and/or account notes - Maintain accuracy when entering demographic and insurance information in the system - Courteously answer the telephone and answer all questions in a timely manner - Identify and refer uninsured and underinsured patients to the Financial Counselor - Inquire patient account system(s) to identify any previous unpaid liability - Maintain a positive working relationship with patients/guarantors, insurance companies, government entities, clinical personnel, co-workers, and management to promote teamwork, cooperation and a positive public image for the organization - Organize, prioritize, and monitor daily work activity to ensure that complete, accurate, and compliant registration has been performed in a timely manner - Participate in a variety of unit and hospital educational programs to maintain current skill and competency levels - Perform registration in appropriate system, verify insurance coverage, and obtain authorization for patients who present for professional and hospital services and have not been pre-registered - Perform miscellaneous duties as requested **About the Company** This successful specialty hospital has provided hope, healing, and the best healthcare for patients since it was established in 1983, and it has grown to become one of the largest specialty hospitals of its kind in the country.
