ED Testing Engineer
Job Description

We are looking for a ED Testing Engineer. This role involves developing and implementing testing strategies, conducting tests, analyzing results, and collaborating with various teams to improve supply chain efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

Ensure all Incoming materials are inspected as per the PO details with visual checks, mechanical checks and tested for its proper functionality Inspection of all fabricated enclosures received in Incoming Quality and at Fabricator place as per the Fabrication drawings given by Mechanical Design Engineer and ensure that the enclosures are cleared for Manufacturing and are free from defects Follow up with Supplier through Purchase for CAPA report in case of defective and Non-conformance Products and to re-inspect the material if defects / non-conformance is resolved Maintenance of Test Certificates for all incoming materials Inspect & test all drive modules and upload the application Software as per the job requirement and coordinate with drive module Stores & logistics for Dispatch /Issue for Production Stage wise inspection of Stand-alone & Line-Up VFD panels as per the GA, IGA Requirement Final Inspection of Stand-alone & Line-Up VFD Panels as per the Customer requirement with the use of GA, IGA, Schematic, Wiring table & Other test / inspection document released by Engineering Develop FAT plan and perform tests as per Factory Acceptance Test plan for all VFD panels as per the allocated job and record for Customer Inspection and prepare test report Update VFD Panel Inspection Checklist and intimate Production In-Charge and the suppliers for attending to the inspection points / observations Furnish Shop floor changes for generation of “AS BUILT” drawings Prioritize allocated jobs and ensure that they are completed On-Time for Customer Inspection (both In-house & Outsourced) and ensure timely reporting is done for raising the Inspection call to Customer / Consultant through the Concerned Project manager Co-ordinate with Customer/Consultant for inspection of VFD Panels and work towards in achieving Customer Clearance  Ensure that all Customer / Consultant points are completed on time and compliance is given to the concerned Project manager Completion of Final Panel clearance checklist for all the jobs handled and report to the QA Manager, Production / Planning Manager

Desire for 4-year degree in Engineering Working knowledge of quality/problem solving tools (PPAP, Capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, Fishbone) Computer skills, (Microsoft Office, PLC, test stand) Customer Service mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure are necessary traits Outstanding safety record and approach to behavioral based safety using proper PPE are requirements Danfoss – Engineering Tomorrow
