Job Description:
As an Edge Band Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining edge banding machinery to ensure high-quality finishing of wooden panels and components. Your role will involve setting up machines, adjusting parameters, and performing routine maintenance to ensure smooth operation and top-notch results.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate edge banding machines according to production requirements and specifications. Inspect and adjust machine settings to ensure precise edge banding. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to prevent downtime. Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine specifications and materials. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and production schedules. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and protocols. Record production data and report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training is a plus. Proven experience operating edge banding machines or similar woodworking equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in a manufacturing environment. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with different types of edge banding materials and techniques. Familiarity with Edge Banding Machines Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
