JOB DUTIES:
Operating Edger to machine boards for maximum value while following production schedules based on species and thickness of material. Guides and monitors quality of boards produced. Communicate with head-saw operator and downstream employees. Run a control panel that controls flow of lumber. Assist with set up of saws. Perform any other work-related task deemed necessary by the mill management.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification and drug screening. Positive and Verifiable Work History. Ability to work occasional overtime. Prior sawmill experience is preferred but not required. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Embrace a safety-first attitude and a healthy respect for machinery. Prefer working with your hands. Prefer to be on your feet all day. You are punctual and reliable.
