As EDI Mapping Developer you will have opportunity to provide support for day-to-day and new development activities for all Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)-related systems and interface points. This position will require interaction with both internal and external customers and coordination of activities with our 3rd-party providers.
Functional Tasks/Duties and Responsibilities:
Take part in all application development lifecycle phasesDesign and develop data mapping based on the customer’s specifications and their business and operational needsSupport existing EDI partner and process mapsWork with various experts and 3rd party vendors to define, create and integrate new processes in productive systemLead EDI projects from initial design through testing, validation and implementationAssist cross functional business teams to develop new or modify existing solutions, per individual needs to help support delivery of organizational requirementsCollaborate with operational and cross-functional teams to develop and execute operational plans, programs and technology solutions to support Sensata undertakings and acquisitionsDiagnose, document, and manage customer needs during a deployment/migration.Prepare complete functional design documentation for implemented solutions.Provide accurate and timely logging of problems and their resolution.Coach other members of the team on EDI related processesPersonal Skills:

Strong Experience in Map development with major standardsStrong Experience with Seeburger BIS6 and BIC Mapping DesignerExperience with SQLExperience with different EDI message formats (EDIFACT, ANSI X12, VDA, ODETTE, XML, IDoc, Oracle Flat files) is considered a strong advantageExperience of AS2, SFTP, OFTP/OFTP2 and VAN communicationsExperience with onboarding EDI partnersExperience using or supporting an ERP System (Oracle R12 preferably)Ability to execute basic commands in Linux terminal is a plusSmarterTogetherCollaborating at Sensata means working with some of the world’s most talented people in an enriching environment that is constantly pushing towards the next best thing
