We are seeking an experienced EDI / Interface Architect to design, implement, and manage integration solutions for a large-scale SAP S4 HANA environment. This role requires expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), interface architecture, and ABAP development, along with a high-level understanding of business processes such as sales, procurement, logistics, controlling and finance. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP and external systems, aligning with the organization's global business needs.

**How You'll Create Possibilities**
**Key Responsibilities**
**1. EDI Architecture and Implementation**
+ Design and implement EDI solutions to enable seamless data exchange with external partners, including vendors, customers, and logistics providers.
+ Develop and maintain EDI mapping for various document types (e.g., orders, invoices, shipping notifications) using industry standards.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
**2. Interface Design and Integration**
+ Develop, optimize, and maintain interfaces between SAP S4 HANA and third-party applications using middleware tools such as SAP PI/PO, SAP Integration Suite, or other API-based tools.
+ Ensure robust data integration and synchronization across systems, including on-premise and cloud platforms.
+ Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement APIs, IDocs, RFCs, and OData services for efficient communication between systems.
**3. ABAP Development**
+ Utilize ABAP expertise to customize and enhance SAP systems for interface and integration requirements.
+ Create custom programs, reports, and enhancements to support integration workflows.
+ Conduct performance tuning and code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
**4. Process and Functional Expertise**
+ Understand and map high-level business processes (e.g., Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Produce) to integration requirements.
+ Collaborate with functional teams to ensure integration solutions align with business process needs.
+ Provide thought leadership on best practices for process automation and digital transformation in the SAP ecosystem.
**5. Governance and Compliance**
+ Define and enforce standards for interface and EDI architecture to maintain consistency across global operations.
+ Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations for all integration processes.
+ Document integration architecture, workflows, and system dependencies for audit and reference purposes.
**6. Stakeholder Collaboration**
+ Act as the primary point of contact for EDI and interface-related discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
+ Liaise with business process owners, IT teams, and external partners to gather requirements and ensure successful delivery.
+ Conduct training sessions for teams on integration workflows and tools.
**What You'll Bring to Our Team**
**Required Skills and Experience**
**Technical Skills**
+ In-depth knowledge of SAP S4 HANA and its integration capabilities, including IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and OData services.
+ Strong experience with ABAP development, including debugging, performance tuning, and custom enhancements.
+ Expertise in EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and XML.
+ Proficiency in middleware tools like SAP PI/PO, SAP Integration Suite, or MuleSoft.
+ Hands-on experience with API development and management (REST, SOAP).
**Business Process Knowledge**
+ High-level understanding of core business processes, including Sales and Distribution, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance.
+ Ability to translate business requirements into scalable integration solutions.
**Soft Skills**
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, and global environment.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
+ 12+ years of experience in EDI/interface architecture and SAP integration.
+ SAP S4 HANA certification (preferred).
+ Knowledge of ITIL processes (preferred).
