The Project Manager role is responsible for high level management, delegation, and execution of day to day e-discovery project tasks. The role involves concurrently managing multiple projects of varying complexity. The incumbent will collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, IT personnel, and other members of the counsel and/or client legal team to ensure the successful completion of e-discovery matters. Project Managers must also mentor, train and delegate to an assigned team of Project Coordinators.
ResponsibilitiesManagement of Projects:
Providing end-to-end oversight of discovery matters and serving as primary client point of contactProviding expertise and consultative advice regarding data collections, processing, review workflows, analytics, and production/export deliverablesCreating and maintaining project schedules, including defining activities, sequence, dependencies, work effort, duration and associated resource requirementsDeveloping and managing relationships with internal teamsDefining, communicating, implementing and monitoring quality standards on all project deliverablesPlanning and managing internal and external project communications, ensuring effective exchange of project information and deliverablesServing as expert on Consilio’s review platforms and proprietary offeringsForecasting, tracking and managing project budgets and invoicesSuccessfully overseeing multiple, concurrent projectsGenerating and distributing reporting metrics for processed requests and KPI’s on a regular basisDeveloping strong client relationships through collaborative, consultative service Qualifications BA/BS degree or minimum 5 years in the litigation support / legal industryMinimum 8 years’ experience; 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager and 2 years as a People ManagerDemonstrated experience managing multiple, concurrent projects involving cross-functional teams within budgetary and schedule constraintsDemonstrated ability to manage client expectations and maintain client satisfactionA proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to anticipate client needsThe ability to confront unexpected problems quickly and effectivelyStrong teamwork, communication (written and oral), client management, and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to manage project teams, including teams of supporting project managersCompensation for roles at Consilio is driven by an array of factors including but not limited to the specific market, position, skill set and level of experience. The target compensation range for this position is $106,218.40 – $159,327.60.
