EcoSure & Lobster Ink is looking for a Editor to join its industry-leading Content team. We deliver high-impact learning through a range of digital products blending instructional expertise, conceptual creativity and all with a full internal production team. We're expanding a portfolio serving some of the world's biggest brands, and we're looking for the best, to keep producing the best. 

 
This role focuses on editing compelling video content for instructional and educational purposes as well as advancing our marketing and communication objectives.  
 
You will take time to understand scripts, the lesson learning outcomes and the overall client needs and programme goals. You will transform raw footage into engaging narratives, incorporating interviews, music, visual and sound effects.  

Collaboration with marketing and creative teams is essential, as is a solid grasp of video editing best practices, instructional design principles, and visual storytelling to create impactful training and brand-consistent content. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Assemble raw footage, interviews, music, and sound effects into polished and cohesive video narratives. 

Collaborate with marketing/creative teams to understand the desired message and translate it into visually engaging content. 

Apply knowledge of composition, color theory, and typography to create visually appealing and consistent video content aligned with brand guidelines. 

Work effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure project success. 

Adhere to internal Asset management standards. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:  

3 to 5 years of experience as a video editor  

A 3-year bachelor's degree or Diploma in a related field, such as Filmmaking, Video Production, or Digital Media. 

A showreel of relevant work, available for viewing 

 Basic experience with Adobe After Effects  

 

Key Competencies required are: expertise in editing software, visual storytelling, and various techniques, capable of working independently on multiple projects, an understanding of adult learning theory, excellent communication skills, strong teamwork abilities, project timeline and budget adherence.
