Yes County Albany Street Address State Campus, Bldg 8, Flr 2 City Albany State NY Zip Code 12226 Duties Description Under the direction of the Information Technology Specialist 4, within the Imaging team, the incumbent will hold the role as a lead java developer, assigned to the Dedicated TAX Bureau within ITS Dedicated Support and will provide leadership for the Workplace Services team and support for development activities related to the DTF Modernization Program. This role is designated to work closely with application development teams, framework platform teams, and the other imaging leads under. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:- Developing and designing new java applications that work with the empire framework.- Developing and maintain java api’s that integrate with the various imaging platforms. - Participate in technical and design review meetings.- Work with application teams to review business requirements, troubleshooting application code, and provide development guidance for integrating with imaging. - Develop unit test plans based on coding changes and user specifications. Conduct unit testing and debugging of all code changes in the development environment.- Coordinate the migration of all code changes (programs, procedures, etc.) from development environment into user test environment.- Perform all supervisory responsibilities.
