Position Summary
Under general supervision, performs activities in support of their assigned venue. This position creates the Sandia Resort & Casino experience for our customers by providing customers with prompt service, and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Maintains a focus on delivering “Far from Ordinary” service to all guests. Assists customers with retail purchases and preparation of specialized beverages. Communicates information to the restaurant manager about products and equipment needs in a timely manner. Participation in daily stand-up meetings to ensure proper communication is understood. Timely completion of computer assisted training as required. Maintains cleanliness, safety, and standards always as well as utilizing sanitary tools such as plastic gloves and tongs when handling food items. Follows Sandia Resort & Casino operational policies and procedures for cash handling to ensure the accurate tendering of all guest transactions. Maintains a clean and organized dining area that is free of debris. Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned schedule each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo of Sandia.Additional Responsibilities
Builds relationships with guests (or community, etc.) based upon respect while maintaining a professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor. Performs additional duties as requested.Key Performance Indicators
This position has Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) identified as a measurement of success. KPI’s will be shared with all team members who work in this job title and feedback will be provided regarding the successful completion of the KPI’s as part of the performance review process.

Required
Must be at least 18 years of age.Preferred
High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent. Prior cash handling and customer service experience.Note: Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy education and/or work experience.
License/Certifications/Registrations
Must successfully complete a New Mexico Food Handlers Course upon hire. Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation. Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

Working Conditions Required
Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
