The perinatal ultrasound educator and outreach coordinator is a position supported by UWMF and Meriter Hospital. The ultrasound educator/outreach coordinator actively participates in resident and fellowship education as well as training of perinatal sonographers. This person serves as a liaison to UWMF clinics where ultrasounds are performed and to referring clinics where ultrasound support is provided by Meriter employed sonographers and ultrasounds are read remotely by UWMF Maternal Fetal Medicine Physicians. The ultrasound educator and outreach coordinator educator also perform diagnostic and therapeutic sonographic procedures and assists physicians with obtaining pertinent ultrasound information.

Qualifications:
+ Successful completion of an accredited ultrasound program
+ Bachelor's degree in diagnostic medical sonography or related field
+ 3-5 years of prior experience in obstetric ultrasound
+ Registered by ARDMS
+ OB/Gyn registered
+ Fetal Medicine Foundation Nuchal Translucency certified
