We have a great opportunity for an Education Coordinator to join our growing company!

 

The Education Coordinator Supports classroom and program monitoring through classroom observations, review of electronic records, and work groups. Helps assess classroom and program needs and assists with planning strategies for system/process improvement and/or development in the areas of early childhood education. Assesses the implementation of the agency’s work plan to insure the program/content goals and objectives are met. Providing guidance and support to staff with implementation of curriculum/individualization plans and ongoing assessments

Requirements High School Diploma or GED required1-3 years early childhood education experiencePositive, creative, energetic and innovativeKnowledge of HighReach Learning curriculumKnowledge of classroom arrangement and labeling proceduresKnowledge of age appropriate practices for children of all agesAbility to work independentlyExperience planning lessons and activitiesExcellent communicatorAbility to travel independently for trainings

Responsibilities

 

Assist the teachers with planning, teaching and implementing the HighReach Learning curriculum and activity plans, so that it is most effective for the children in all age groupsHave knowledge of and ability to evaluate the whole learning environment using ITERS-R, ECERS-R, ECERS-3, and SACERS in order to suggest improvements that will provide a more well rounded program in every classroomProvide positive and constructive feedback and suggestions to teachers in a non-judgmental way, in order to improve their classrooms and the services provided to the children and families of Childcare NetworkConduct formal and informal classroom observations and share feedback with teachers and administrationRecognize best practice in classrooms using Gold Star awards and professional recognition charms, along with other meaningful methodsWork with the staff to provide positive physical and verbal interactions with the children throughout the dayAssist with new employee training and mentoring using all required onboarding materialsHelp manage professional development documentation related to education and training and maintain up-to-date information for all staff at all timesAssist the administration team by building morale and creating a welcoming environment for children, families, and teachers
