The Education & Events Coordinator position is responsible for the coordination and execution of logistics for Education training institute and industry tradeshow events. Fulfilling sales force and customer requests for these events is required, along with basic knowledge of BioHorizons products used for hands on training. Frequent interactions with the sales force, clinicians, various levels of management and multiple departments are required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day clerical support for educational programs and events, including registration, payment processes, and staff communication.Schedule hands-on and display inventory and order other materials that will be utilized at courses and events.Work with sales force on event staffing and communication of logistics.Manage relationships with associations/organizers to achieve the desired outcomes.Coordinate logistics for meetings and small trade shows.Assist in course and event setup at corporate headquarters.Assist in calculating ROI for teaching institutes.Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Highly detail oriented.Good interpersonal and organization skills.Ability to prioritize work and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.Good problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to understand and follow directions, complex policies and procedures. Requires vaccination against Hepatitis B or signed declination form.Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree and/or combination of experience.1 year of professional experience required.Previous event planning experience preferred.
