Education Manager

The Education Manager is responsible for the education, certification preparation, and ongoing education of all medical coding professionals providing coding services. The scope of this job includes representing the business unit and company as a national content expert and collaborating with all company service lines in providing clinical expertise, audit, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities 

Create and present training curriculum tailored for teammates across the medical coding and revenue cycle services teams. 

Provide technical competency and serve as a subject matter expert regarding documentation, coding, billing, reimbursement, and compliance management as it relates to coding and client service delivery. 

Provide guidance to the team on complex coding scenarios. 

Develop and maintain the learning curriculum for US and global coding teams and foster continuous learning within the organization. 

Perform other job duties as assigned. 

 

 

Required qualifications 

 

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience 

At least 4-6 years of relevant work experience 

Coding Certified (HCS-D or BCHH-C) 

Preferred Qualifications

OASIS certified 

 

Job Expectations 

 

Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed 

Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information 

Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
