**EDUCATION PROGRAM MANAGER**
**JOB SUMMARY**
_Proctors Collaborative is the Capital District’s largest regional arts organization with performing arts venues in Albany, Schenectady and Saratoga, and education, civic engagement and economic development initiatives throughout the region. The Collaborative School of the Arts is the education wing of the organization, offering a robust series of training programs, classes and engagement programs in each venue, in schools and throughout the community._
Collaborative School of the Arts seeks an EDUCATION PROGRAMS MANAGER for public engagement programs with primary responsibility for creating an annual work plan for career and community programs within the School, including relationships and partnerships, articulating goals and objectives for all programs, creating and coordinating marketing plans, developing budgets and program management. EDUCATION PROGRAMS MANAGER works closely with staff as needed including Proctors, Capital Repertory Theatre, Universal Preservation Hall, The Adeline Graham Theatrical Training and Innovation Center to ensure delivery of all aspects of Education programming and forward-thinking vision.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Designs, implements, and evaluates performing arts programs in alignment with Proctors’ mission.
+ Builds partnerships between Collaborative School of the Arts artists and campuses.
+ Recruits and supports faculty for new and existing programs.
+ Represents learning and engagement efforts at public events; engages with the community.
+ Manages budgets, sets goals, and tracks success metrics and participation data.
+ Builds relationships with students, educators, parents, and community members to promote and support CSOA programming.
+ Provides administrative and on-site support, including occasional evenings and weekends. Performs other duties as needed.
**POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**
+ 3–5 years of experience as an arts administrator or education specialist, including management.
+ Background in working with youth and diverse populations.
+ Knowledge of national trends in arts education and community engagement.
+ Creative, energetic, and passionate about performing arts.
+ Strategic thinker with strong organizational, communication, and detail-oriented skills.
+ Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education or performing arts.
