Job Summary:

Demonstrates through behavior Decatur Morgan Hospital’s mission, vision and values. Additionally, the nurse educator provides support to all Decatur Morgan Hospital Nursing Services employees at the West Campus by identifying needs for education, preparing and presenting education activities and evaluating the effectiveness of Nursing Resources activities and outcomes.  Serves as a resource to all West Campus Nursing Services staff.

Education:  Graduate of an accredited school of nursing – BSN required, MSN preferred.  Possesses a nursing license in good standing in the State of Alabama

Experience: Minimum of five years hospital clinical experience.  Time served as an instructor or preceptor preferred, but not required.
