Virginia Tech Pesticide Programs seeks an individual to provide educational support for Virginia pesticide applicators. Major responsibilities include assisting approval of private pesticide applicator recertification training courses, management of website training calendars, entering and tracking recertification training credits, and communicating with pesticide safety trainers and the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Office of Pesticide Services. The individual will also assist in development and maintenance of online pesticide training courses, coordinate online course enrollment, and provide general program support.
