Summary You will serve as an EDUCATION AND TRAINING COORDINATOR in the MANPOWER AND TRAINING BRANCH of NMCPAC EAST ASIA DIVISION. Salary for GS-09: $63,800 - $82,938 Salary for GS-11: $77,192 - 100,344 Responsibilities You will Prepare directives to manage training programs and aligns higher headquarters directives and NMCPAC EAD unique mission requirements. You will maintain training data, in conjunction with Defense Readiness Reporting System - Strategic (DRRS-S), and provides metrics on programs and operations enterprise wide. You will coordinate tracking and reporting of mandatory/required training completion across the NMCPAC EAD enterprise and provide ongoing metrics to Command leadership. You will monitor training program progress and identifies areas in need of improvement, documents possible root causes, and recommends corrective action. You will determine most cost-effective method to required training using return of investment calculations by identifying mission critical skills and recognizing skill gaps. Researches and manages training program opportunities. You will manage various learning management systems for the NMCPAC EAD enterprise, Fleet Training Management and Planning System (FLTMPS), and Waypoints. You will keep training records up to date through Defense Civilian Personnel Data System, Fleet Training Management and Planning System, NeL, and TWMS. You will closely monitor Advanced Skills Management (ASM) Qualification/Certification (Qual/Cert) records. Routinely briefs the Commander on unit and detachment Qual/Cert program. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing administrative support by assisting students on administrative matters (e.g., scheduling, tracking or reporting) for a military training program. GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and evaluating training programs (e.g., DCPDS, TWMS, FLTMPS or DTS) to recommend improvements on administrative matters for a military training program. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
