Job Description:

Here at Mars Petcare, we have an exciting opportunity to transform, develop and lead the site Training & Education. You will be accountable for the development and implementation of training strategies, plans and processes that support the Wodonga Site OGSM.

This is a crucial role where you will coordinate and manage training programs, whilst working collaboratively with cross functional teams such as the Q&FS, SES and P&O Departments to ensure conformance and compliance to relevant standards and legislations are met and maintained.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Identify training & development needs within manufacturing through job analysis, PDP process and regular consultation with line managers and supporting departments

Co-ordinate and manage annual training plan including; training needs analysis and formulation of organisational individual training plans, create & maintain a feedback mechanism for current status and risk escalation

Schedule and deliver an in-house training schedule, whilst continually amending and revising as necessary to adapt to changes in the manufacturing environment

Manage and maintain a Learning Management System (database) that clearly demonstrates learner status and outcomes

Manage the Learning & Development Centre and its resources and ensure that it is maintained

Continue to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers by leading projects or steps within a broader project that support the site training and development needs along with system advancement through digital tools (POKA & Weaver)

Experience of designing, developing and delivering learning solutions

Ability to work autonomously within established procedures and practices

Demonstrated ability to build a network outside of own function and influence key stakeholders in development and deployment of operational initiatives

Proven deployment experience with the ability to inspire and influence associates with credibility

A proactive approach, being an innovative and lateral thinker with an ability to analyse critically and find creative solutions

Ability to use perspective and insight to shape and implement meaningful and effective strategies which drive change
