Requirements: Educational Interpreter I - Minimum score of Level 3.3 on the Educational Interpreter Proficiency Assessment (EIPA) or a passing score on a state level interpreting evaluation and a minimum of an AA degree. An EIPA score of a 3.5 will be required after within 3 years of employment. Educational Interpreter II - Minimum of AA degree in Educational Interpreting or a related field from an accredited program, a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an education setting and a score of Level 3.5 on the EIPA. Educational Interpreter III- Minimum EIPA score of a 4.0 or a national certification. 5 years’ experience in education is required with a minimum of a AA degree in interpreting or a related field. Minimum One-Year relevant Interpreting experience
