**The opportunity** Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring part-time Educators to join our team at the Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida. As an Educator, you will be responsible for assisting with delivering instructional, educational programs related to NASA’s space exploration program and other STEM-themed programs and initiatives. A combination of degree and practical experience will be considered. + Teaching experience in a traditional or non-traditional education program. + Excellent communications and organization skills. + Excellent public speaking and presentation skills. + Prior knowledge and interest in Kennedy Space Center and NASA's space program. + Experience with working with groups of children. + Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work. **Physical requirements** + Able to stand for long periods of time including bending, lifting, reaching, and stretching and lift 30lbs or more. + Includes indoor and outdoor work environments in a hot climate. + Must be willing to work with chemicals for programs. + Must be able to operate simulators with heavy moving parts. **Shift details** Day shift Evening shift Weekends Holidays Overnight **Who we are** The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is the visitor center at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
