Requirements:
Option 1: Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited school of respiratory therapy.Option 2: Graduation from an accredited electroneurodiagnostic technology program (accredited by the committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or equivalent) or 10 years experience EEG experience."Five (5) years of Electroneurodiagnostic (EEG) experience, including experience in a critical care capacityAbility to read, communicate, and document effectively through oral, written, or electronic means; excellent customer service skills; ability to prioritize and respond promptly to a changing workload.Proficiency in all MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).Ability to answer telephones, maintain filing systems, schedule appointments, process reports, input data into computer programs, coordinate events, and facilitate teams and meetings.Option 1: Current Arizona license to practice respiratory care and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification; American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) ACLS & BLS certification.Option 2: Registered EEG Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist (ABRET); American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS certification. Responsible for the management of day to day EEG operations and activities.Accountable for policies and procedures, and all associated administrative duties.Performs sleep, critically ill bedside, electro cerebral silence recordings, and intraoperative EEG monitoring (carotid endarterectomies).Full comprehension of all EEG services provided.We know it’s not just about finding a job.
