Efficiency Center Coordinator, Assurance

Overview:

This is an opportunity to join a team called the Efficiency Center.  The Efficiency Center will be responsible for performing various audit-related tasks, that are currently performed by our client-service team members.  Efficiency Center employees will work together to execute various tasks for the client service teams using standardized processes and technology. The position will initially be part-time (15-25 hours a week).

Responsibilities:

Attend in-person and virtual trainings on how to perform various tasks to assist our client-service professionals Work with other Efficiency Center team members to execute tasks, including: Preparing Form 990 for our clients, which is an annual form that is submitted to the IRS and provides the public with financial information about a nonprofit organization Preparing New York State cost reports for our clients, which is a uniform report that is required to be filed by hospitals Preparing audit files for client-service professionals (using PFX Engagement and PPC Check Point tools) Preparing our client portal which is the primary method our audit teams exchange information with clients (using MyPortal) Recalculating financial statements for accuracy Drafting audit opinions, engagement letters, legal letters and management representation letters Rolling audit budgets Mapping of Service Organization Controls (SOC) reports Openly communicate status and/or issues to Efficiency Center Oversight. Troubleshoot by communicating with client-service team members, as necessary. Additional responsibilities as assigned. 


Qualifications:

High School diploma, some college is preferred Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information Experience handling high volume of tasks Must be highly organized A team player who actively contributes to the Efficiency Center to complete tasks Must be able to communicate effectively with Efficiency Center oversight, client-service teams and firm leadership 

Hours of Operation:

Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through FridayOur summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday  We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however, the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak times
