ROLE OVERVIEW

Part of our Front Office team on our River vessels, the Hotel Manager responsible for guest satisfaction and profitability through efficient administration, excellent service, and staff supervision. The Hotel Manager reports to Corporate Operations Manager. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO ON BOARD

Manage entire hotel operation on board according to company standardsLead and motivate team according to Viking PhilosophyEnsure highest level of cleanliness, hygiene, and order in all areasResponsible for cost control, adherence to budgets, and inventory managementAnticipate guest needs, handle complaints, and participate in onboard eventsSupervise and support F&B department and crew working hours, days off, and vacation scheduling

Lodging, meals, unlimited Wi-Fi, uniforms, and laundry are free of charge for all crew members.  Travel to/from the ship provided by Viking. ABOUT YOU 

Hospitality degree required (min. Diploma in Hotel Management)Minimum of 3 years previous experience required in similar positionFluent in English with excellent oral and written communication skillsExceptional leadership skills and ability to handle confidential information discreetlyAbility to maintain impeccable hygiene standards, extensive walking and standing required
