This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations. Role Definition
Monitors manufacturing practices and processes for environmental considerations; ensures adherence to organizational policies, industry practices, and governmental regulations.
Responsibilities
•    Coordinating permits from federal and state agencies, producing reports and documentation, and participating in environmental audits.
•    Analyzing the organizational landscape and providing recommendations for corporate sustainability initiatives.
•    Communicating standards, rules, and practices for environmental protection and promoting training programs related to environmental issues.
•    Collaborating cross-functionally to influence the business strategies and product requirements directly impacting the environment.

Education and Experience
Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level.
