A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As an EH&S Specialist - Health Officer at MKS Korea, you will partner with all relative teams in Yongin site, Korea such as facility, operations, services and  each division to implement company's EH&S requirements and drives strong EH&S culture. In this role, you will report to the Corporate EH&S Manager of South Korea and Japan, APAC.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Maintain and monitor the site EHS management system, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations; Identify gaps, implement corrective actions, and report relevant KPIs.
• Provide leadership to integrate EHS responsibilities into daily operations (RASIC), foster safety culture, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

• Develop, implement, and update EHS policies, procedures, and health programs, including health monitoring, medical check-ups, chemical risk assessments, wellness initiatives, and workplace environment assessments in line with corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular safety risk assessments and audits (internal and external) to evaluate compliance, identify hazards, and implement mitigation measures.
• Oversee EHS-related facilities, equipment maintenance, and inspections to ensure safe operating conditions and compliance with regulations.
• Deliver EHS training programs, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and support employee engagement in EHS processes.

• Manage EHS software systems (MASTER), coordinate budgets and investment plans, and act as the liaison for audits, customer requests(including coordinate with ESG), and external assessments.

• Focusing on Safety and Environmental Coordination

• Collaborate with health officer to ensure mutual support as one team.

Skills You Bring:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in EH&S, Science or Engineering.

• 3-5 years related experience in the manufacturing industry.

• Industrial Hygiene Engineer(산업위생기사) or equivalent certification to registered as Health Officer on Government.
• In-depth knowledge of Korean EHS regulations.
• Experience of ISO 14001, 45001 preferred.

• Good written and verbal understanding of English.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Good writing and oral communication skills in English.

• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize based on risk assessment.

• Strong presentation, organizational, analytical & problem-solving skills.
