We are looking for an experienced Environment, Health, Safety & Sustainability Sr. Manager to drive outstanding performance in a diverse manufacturing environment! This role is responsible for managing EHS industrial safety & health programs to ensure safe operations and to help drive a proactive safety culture. **Primary responsibilities include:** + The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading key health & safety programs and collaborating with business partners to advance the site’s safety culture and performance + Must have a strong background in all general industry health & safety subject areas + Able to support business partners with input from other EHSS professionals within the Amgen EHSS community + Develop, implement and manage assigned safety & health programs and act as the site subject matter expert for assigned programs + Ensure regulatory compliance for all assigned programs and liaise with regulatory authorities as appropriate + Implement robust compliance readiness and internal auditing program for each program + Provide regular updates to Global Program owners and EHSS Site Lead on the status of each program + Execute safety culture program to integrate health & safety as part of day-to-day business operations. + Manage incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify and address the underlying causes of incidents and reduce injuries + Monitor safety & health performance and establish action plans to ensure continuous improvement in areas of responsibility + Establish and execute risk assessment plans to proactively address risks and ensure that control systems are implemented and maintained + Ability to partner with and effectively influence staff and management + Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of EHS principles and standard methodologies, regulatory standards, and requirements in context of business activities. **Win** **What we expect of you** We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.
